“Judah Maccabee” (The MLCF Hanukkah WOD)

8 Rounds for time of:
-8 Hang Power Clean @95/65
-8 Front Squat @95/65
-8 Push Press @95/65
-8 Burpees
-8 Pull-ups
-8 Dips
-8 Box Jumps @20
-8 Sit-ups

*WOD can be performed solo or as a 2-person team. Teams will go rep for rep. Example: I do 1 rep, you do 1 rep, I do 1 rep, and you do 1 rep and so on until the 8 per movement are complete then move on.

Judah Maccabee (Judah the Hammer) was a Kohen and a son of the Jewish priest Mattathias. He led the Maccabean revolt against the Seleucid Empire and is acclaimed as one of the greatest warriors in Jewish history alongside Joshua, Gideon and David.
The Jewish feast of Hanukkah (“Dedication”) commemorates the restoration of Jewish worship at the temple in Jerusalem in 165 BC, after Judah Maccabee removed the pagan statuary.
